On site: how we protect your home during installation

A bespoke installation is not a single delivery day, it is a sequence of precise adjustments in a home that is still being lived in. Protection and communication keep stress down.

Before components arrive

We agree access paths, parking, and where materials may be staged. High-traffic routes get breathable floor protection; vulnerable corners are flagged with the site team.

During the fit

Cutting, when required, is controlled and extracted where possible. Each day should end with a clear workspace and rubbish sorted for removal. If something unexpected appears in the wall or floor, we photograph it, pause the affected area, and talk it through before cutting deeper.

Noise, neighbours, and access

Sensible working hours, parking for deliveries, and lift access in flats are agreed up front. We brief our team on pets, vulnerable residents, and any alarm codes or key protocols you prefer. Loud phases are batched where we can so you are not living through three weeks of continuous cutting.

Dust migrating to bedrooms or studies is reduced by zipper doors, negative air where appropriate, and not running extraction straight into unsealed wardrobes. If you work from home we try to sequence the noisiest tasks around your calls when the programme allows.

Handover condition

We leave fixing positions labelled where they will be hidden, spare touch-in materials bagged where agreed, and packaging removed for recycling or disposal per your site rules. You should know what is finished, what awaits a second trade, and what you should not wipe with aggressive chemicals in the first week.
