What does HausBespoke make?

Bespoke kitchens, fitted and walk-in wardrobes, and interior joinery for private homes. Everything is designed around your room and made in our Bedfordshire workshop, not cut down from a factory range of standard carcasses.

Do you work in London?

Yes. We regularly survey, deliver and install in St John’s Wood, Hampstead, Maida Vale, Notting Hill, Marylebone and homes across North-West, West and Central London, as well as further afield in the UK.

Who oversees the project?

Every commission is personally overseen by our founder, Babek, from the first survey to the final fitting. There is no handover between a salesperson, a distant factory and a fitting crew you have never met.

Where is the work manufactured?

Design, surveying and manufacturing come together under one roof at our workshop in Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire, a short drive from London. Clients are welcome to visit and see their own project being made.

What is the difference between spray-painted and hand-painted?

Accepted Answer

Most “hand-painted” wardrobes are brushed on factory. That can look good on day one, but brush-applied paint chips at the edges and shows wear. We spray doors and panels in a controlled booth, coat by coat, then hand-finish: a furniture-grade surface that lasts longer, cleans more easily, and matches across every door.

How does the process work?

Six stages: a measured survey on site, design and pricing, drawings and samples for your sign-off, manufacturing in our workshop, delivery booked around your dates, then installation until the lines are met. Nothing is cut until you have approved the drawings and samples.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the room, the finish and how quickly drawings are signed off. Many kitchen and wardrobe projects run over several months from first conversation to install. Tell us your preferred timing on the enquiry form and we will be honest about what is realistic.

Do you quote before a survey?

We can give a clear indication from drawings and a conversation, but a measured site survey is how we lock the price. Every line item is on the quote before you pay a deposit, with no quiet substitutions later.

Can I choose any colour?

Accepted Answer

Yes - any colour, from any brand's chart. Bring us a Farrow & Ball shade, a Little Greene favourite, or a fabric swatch: colour matching is a standard part of our process, not a special request. We match it in our spray booth, you sign off a sample in your own light, and that signed sample stays on file as the batch reference so the colour can be reproduced exactly, even years later. Spray-painted MDF is our signature finish and can be specified in any colour. Veneered MDF brings real wood grain, which we can tone-match to a reference you supply. Melamine is the practical route for internals and utility spaces.

What finishes can I choose?

Alongside spray-painted MDF, veneer, and melamine, we can specify specialist finishes where the design calls for them: liquid metal coating (real metal applied as a coating - bronze, brass, and other liquid-metal finishes over MDF for doors and panels); architectural mirror (antique, bronze, silver, peach, pink, or any architectural mirror finish, cut and fitted to wardrobe doors, splashbacks, and panels); custom metal details (trims, frames, and profiles in aluminium or stainless steel); aluminium-wrapped MDF fronts; food-grade stainless steel worktops, splashbacks, and kitchen fronts made to measure; hanging rails in chrome, brushed steel, brass, anthracite, or a custom finish with matching sockets, in round, oval, or rubber-lined profiles; and LED lighting in straight, angled, or flush-routed profiles. Tell us what you have in mind and we will confirm what suits the room.

Do you work with architects and interior designers?

Yes. If you are enquiring on behalf of a client, say so in your message. We regularly work alongside design teams and can join site visits or client meetings where useful.
